Director of Business Development

Position Summary:
The Director of Business Development is a highly visible position with Valley Recovery Center of California located in Sacramento, CA. The position is aligned to lead and manage the facility’s sales, marketing and admissions, to provide the number of referrals and admissions that are required to meet or exceed facility census and revenue goals by accomplishing the specific business goals. The position assures facility growth, product/service development, member awareness, communication between the facility and referral sources, quality control, profitability, and operating-cost reduction.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in business development and marketing is required. A good understanding of the local referral base and market is a plus.

Per Diem Mental Health Technician / CNA

Position Summary:
The Mental Health Technician functions in conjunction with the clinical team, assisting with the daily process of client care. This includes admission of clients to the unit, psycho-educational group presentations, monitoring of clients, transporting clients, communicating client and unit issues to others on the clinical team, and documentation.

Qualifications:
Preferred applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field. A High School Diploma is required and experience working in the substance abuse or mental health field is preferred. Must have excellent writing skills, be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, have an understanding of the addiction process, and be able to adjust to increased workloads.

Position Summary:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, or designee, the LVN is responsible for providing care to the clients and providing direction and supervision to non-professional personnel in the provision of direct client care.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years experience; preferably two (2) years of Chemical Dependency experience in addition to basic nursing experience; a current California LVN licensure or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must meet and maintain facility and unit educational requirements and annual competencies.

Addiction Counselor

Position Summary:
The counselor provides intensive group and individual counseling services to patients with a diagnosis of addiction and co-occurring disorders. Responsible for completion of required documentation, oversees implementation of treatment plans, has regular contact with referral sources, identifies family issues relevant to treatment, provides discharge planning, and oversees all phases of care.

Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health related discipline. Two years experience providing individual and/or group counseling for a caseload of patients. Prefer current California license as an MFT, LPCC, or LCSW. EMDR certification preferred. Must be licensed/certified or or license/certification eligible as an addiction counselor, professional counselor, clinical social worker, or comparable profession. CPR and First Aid Certified.
